If you own a Xiaomi, check for the Android version you are using and follow the installation settings below accordingly.
MIUI 10 (Android 6.0 -9.0) recommendation settings:
Go to Phone Settings > Manage Apps > select our app and set up:
- Turn ON Autostart (Or for older phones: (Open Security app) > Permissions > turn ON Autostart for our app)
- Click on Permissions and set the options " Change Wi-Fi connectivity ", " Show on Lock screen " and " Start in the background" all ON.
- Notifications: Choose "Yes, show notifications"
- Limit data usage: Set "Wi-fi" and "Mobile data" both ON
- Battery saver: Choose "No restrictions" (Or for older phones: (Open Security app) > Battery > Power saver app > select our app > choose "No restrictions").
Or:
Go to Phone Settings > Battery & Performance > (choose Manage battery usage apps ) > if possible turn OFF all battery saving modes > choose option " Choose apps " > click on "Installed apps" at the top > choose our app > set "No restrictions".
Go to Recent apps > drag our app down > the app will be locked (lock)
Or:
Go to Recent apps > tap and hold on our app > tap lock icon > the app is now locked (the app name is now marked with a lock).
MIUI 11 (Android 7.0-10.0) recommendation settings:
Go to Phone settings > Apps > Manage apps > select our app and set up:
- Autostart: Turn ON and confirm with OK
- if option "Battery saver" is available: choose "No restrictions".
Go to Phone Settings > Apps > Other Permissions > select our app > turn ON "Change Wi-Fi connectivity" and "Show on lock screen".
Or:
Go to Phone Settings > ( Additional Settings ) > Battery & Performance > Manage Apps Battery Usage > Go to the ' Background Power Saving ' section > Click on ' Choose Apps' > select our app > locate the ' Background Settings ' section > choose 'No restrictions'.
Go to Phone Settings > Apps > Battery & Performance > Turn Battery Saver OFF (Or: go to " Security " > Battery > Battery & Performance > Battery Saver ).
If option ''Ultra battery saver" is present > Go to the ' Security ' app > select ' Battery & performance ' > turn Ultra battery saver OFF.
Go to Phone Settings > Battery & Performance > Power Saving App > choose our app > choose 'No Restrictions' (Or: go through " Security " > Battery > Battery & Performance > Power Saving App ).
Open the Recent apps screen > select and hold our app > from the drop-down list that appears next to it, select the lock icon.
MIUI 12 (Android 9.0 – 11.0) recommendation settings:
Go to Phone settings > Apps > Manage apps > select our app and set up:
- Autostart: Turn ON
- Battery saver: choose "No restrictions"
- Other permissions: turn ON the options "Change Wi-Fi connectivity" and "Show on lock screen".
Go to Phone settings > select Battery & performance > click on Settings (= gearwheel at the top right) > select Power saving app > select our app > set "No restrictions".
Open the Recent apps screen > select and hold our app > from the drop-down list that appears next to it, select the lock icon.
Go to the ' Security ' app > select ' Battery & Performance > turn OFF Battery Saver and Ultra Battery Saver.
MIUI 12 (Android 9.0 - 11.0) recommendation settings:
Go to Phone settings > Apps > Manage apps > select our app and set:
- Autostart: Switch ON
- Battery saver: choose "No restrictions"
- Other permissions: turn ON options "Change Wi-Fi connectivity" and "Show on lock screen".
Go to Phone settings > select Battery & performance > click on Settings (= gear at the top right) > select App battery saver > select our app > set "No restrictions".
Open the Recent apps screen > select and hold our app > from the drop-down list that appears next to it, select the lock icon.
Go to 'Security' app > select 'Battery & performance > turn Battery saver and Ultra battery saver both OFF.
Go to Phone Settings > choose our app > App info > Permissions > turn OFF option “Remove permissions if an app isn’t used”.
